Spring Is Sprung ..

Anyone who knows me knows that I *hate* the heat, and for me, it's "hot" at about 65F, "unbearable" at anything over 75F, and at 80F I'll be found indoors with the fans on, wrapped in cold, wet towels (no joke). I may hate the summer, but I *love* spring, and recently I've been seeing more and more signs that we're deep in the midst of spring. Some pics to prove it :

I'm really happy with the way this one turned out - my first attempt at a close-up shot of anything in nature, and the depth of field turned out great. More by luck than judgement, I think. Love the blue sky behind too.

This one came out pretty well too. I love swans, and this one was very friendly, happy to eat bread from my hand.

Aww, new born lambs - how cute are they? Taken at Thorpe Farm, on my trip to Thorpe Park last week.

Bluebells - one of my favourite flowers, and so springlike! I always know spring has arrived when I see clumps of bluebells.

The streams in the water meadows along the river, and on the nature reserve are teeming with marsh frogs, and their noisy calls can be heard from some distance around.

Thanks to you both for the positive feedback! I'm thinking my bonus next year may go on a *good* camera and a photography course, but I really should get out and about more with the one I have now as well.
