The Day So Far ...

Well, so far so good. It's early days yet, but I feel like this time around I can succeed, however slow. I went shopping this morning and stocked up with things like chicken breasts and legs, fish, smoked salmon scraps, eggs, minced beef, mushrooms, brussels sprouts, swede, etc, so I have no excuse not to eat according to plan for a good few days yet.

Lunch was three eggs, scrambled in butter, with a dollop (technical term, that!) of creme fraiche and a couple of ounces of smoked salmon scraps. Delish!

For dinner I mixed 250g minced beef with some garlic, onion, ginger and lemongrass, and an egg to bind it all together, then formed it into four beef burgers which I fried. I had a 1/2 ounce of brie and 1/2 ounce of garlic soft cheese as well to liven it up.

I still need to take my medication for today, as well as drink several more glasses of water, but I shall be awake for another six hours or so, so that shouldn't be a problem. Oh, and I just baked three chicken legs to eat cold when I get peckish, or for meals if I'm not in need of snacks.
