So I'm on holiday this week, and after visiting Dublin in 2004 with a friend, which was great, and made me completely fall in love with the city, then a second, more disastrous trip last year with a group of friends, I had plans to take myself off there this week for a few days.
Until I got underpaid by £316 two days before Christmas. I finally got that sorted out, and foolishly decided that the people who were saying the weather would be lousy at this time of year were probably right. I spent my spare cash on a new laptop, and decided to postpone my trip until the end of March, when I have a few days off again.
I've been checking the Dublin Webcam every day (multiple times!) and the weather has been great ... sunny, and dry. OK, so it would have been cold, but I like cold weather! I'm not sorry I bought the laptop, but I am really missing Dublin right now, and I hate the thought of waiting another two and a half months before I can go back!
