Weigh In Number 1

And I'm officially down only one pound, though the scale hovered between 197 and 198, and finally setled on the higher number! Argh! Oh well, that's a pound less than I weighed last week, and I shall keep on keeping on.

I have to remember that I'm not eating low-carb with the sole aim of losing weight, but also because it reduces my blood sugar and because I feel better when I eat this way, so even when I don't lose as much as I hope for, I'm still doing a good turn for myself.

I just realised that if I lose a pound a week, in a year's time I will have lost 52lbs, and will only have 13 to go! Wow ... a pound a week doesn't sound so low put like that!
